Top 10 Tired Website Ideas:
Using directive links, instead of contextual links

How many times have you seen the words, "click here to send us an email", on a website?

In the visual language of the Internet, an underline says "click here". Your users know that. So why not say, "If you want more information, send us an email"? It's better phrasing, and suggests that you have a bit of Internet sophistication.

Contextual links also benefit your Google page rank. Research shows that the words used in hyperlinks are one of the elements evaluated by Google to determine your page rank. Hyperlinking valuable keywords can help boost your ranking. Endlessly repeating "click here" doesn't.
