NCC to refurbish 383 rental apartments in Albertslund

NCC is continuing its refurbishment work in Albertslund, outside Copenhagen. On behalf of Vridsløselille Andelsboligforening, a part of BO-VEST, NCC is to refurbish and remodel 383 rental apartments in the district. The order is worth SEK 320 million.

The district was constructed in the mid-1970s and the total living area for the residential units in the project is approximately 27,000 square meters.

“NCC has completed many residential refurbishments for BO-VEST and we are pleased to continue our cooperation. The project will benefit from several of our core competences, particularly planning and implementing the work as efficiently as possible with consideration for the residents during the period of construction,” says Catarina Molén-Runnäs, Head of NCC Building Nordics.

A large number of refurbishment works are to be conducted in the residential buildings, including roofs, façades, windows, doors, stairs, rainwater pipes and installations. In conjunction with the refurbishment, about 40 of the apartments will be adapted for people with accessibility needs.

The work will commence in April 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in April 2024.

The order of approximately SEK 320 million will be registered during the first quarter of 2022 in the Building Nordics business area.
