NCC has been commissioned by Bane NOR in Norway to carry out concreting works on the Loenga-Ekebergåsen line, a part of the expansion of the Follo Line between Oslo and Ski — Norway’s largest infrastructure project of the modern era. The order value is approximately SEK 275 million.
NCC is selling its Fredriksberg office project in Helsinki for approximately SEK 460 million to Swiss Life Asset Managers.
Susanne Lithander will take office as CFO of NCC on November 12 and join NCC’s Executive Management Team. She comes from BillerudKorsnäs, where she worked as CFO for seven years.
NCC is purchasing a property from ICA Fastigheter with approximately 50,000 square meters of development rights for offices, retail and a hotel. NCC has also signed 15-year leases for approximately 20,000 square meters.
NCC will split its largest business area, NCC Building, into Building Sweden, led by Henrik Landelius, and Building Nordics, led by Klaus Kaae. The aim is to provide each unit with better conditions to achieve profitable growth.

Danica Pension and NCC have entered into an agreement to build 50 apartments in an attractive location in Hellerup, just north of Copenhagen. The order value is approximately SEK 520 million.
NCC is to build a cultural district in Örebro that will include such amenities as a public library and a cultural school. The client is the municipal property company Örebroporten Fastigheter AB, and the project is a turnkey contract in partnering.
In accordance with NCC’s Articles of Association, owners of Series A shares are entitled to request that their shares be converted to Series B shares. As a result of such conversion, the total number of voting rights in the company is reduced. In connection with conversion, the company is obligated, pursuant to the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act (1991:980), to disclose details of the change in this manner.
NCC has been awarded the contract to construct the Venjar–Eidsvoll section of railway north of Oslo by Bane NOR. The contract was awarded on July 6 and the time limit for lodging appeals expired yesterday. The order value is about SEK 1.7 billion and the contract is expected to be signed not later than October 4 of this year.
