NCC has now commenced the refurbishment of one of Stockholm’s oldest national grid stations in Hammarby Sjöstad. The new main distribution station will have increased capacity and pave the way for the development of southern Stockholm. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form on behalf of Ellevio.
NCC has signed an agreement with the City of Turku to build the Suikkila school and a preschool in Turku. The assignment is a two-phase turnkey contract valued at approximately SEK 200 million.
On behalf of Specialfastigheter, NCC will conduct the initial works for construction of new prison places at the Rödjan prison in Mariestad. The assignment will take place under the parties’ strategic partnering agreement, and planning and design will commence immediately. The potential order value of the contract is approximately SEK 900 million.
During the period September 19 – September 23, 2022, NCC (LEI-code 213800WRGLW3CY4MHW53) repurchased a total of 363 543 own Series B shares (ISIN: SE0000117970) under the framework of the repurchase program that the Board have decided.
NCC’s operating profit for the third quarter will be negatively impacted by the economic situation, driven primarily by the asphalt operations in the Industry business area. Unrelated to this, a small number of residential projects in Sweden will also be subject to impairment as a result of inadequate project management.
During the period September 12 – September 16, 2022, NCC (LEI-code 213800WRGLW3CY4MHW53) repurchased a total of 327 630 own Series B shares (ISIN: SE0000117970) under the framework of the repurchase program that the Board have decided.
On behalf of Nacka Municipality, NCC will upgrade, modernize and expand Sickla school. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 150 million.
During the period September 5 – September 9, 2022, NCC (LEI-code 213800WRGLW3CY4MHW53) repurchased a total of 246,334 own Series B shares (ISIN: SE0000117970) under the framework of the repurchase program that the Board have decided.
NCC is refurbishing the Käppalaverket wastewater treatment plant on Lidingö, outside of Stockholm, in partnership with the Käppala Association, to upgrade the plant’s capacity and performance. The project is a design-build contract in partnering form and the order value for the first main phase is approximately SEK 1,000 million.
NCC is providing the capital market with a further opportunity to invest in green projects by issuing green bonds with a total value of SEK 1 billion.
Since 2018, the number of serious accidents and incidents has fallen by 38 percent at NCC, clearly demonstrating that the Group’s systematic safety initiatives have yielded results. NCC has been contracted by Hjörring Municipality to build a new retirement home in Sindal, Denmark. The property will accommodate 96 residential units and common service areas. The order value is approximately SEK 230 million.
Together with the City of Västerås, NCC will extend Carlforsska senior high school in Västerås. The extension will meet the growing school’s needs and challenges. The contract is a turnkey project in partnering form, and is valued at approximately SEK 150 million.
NCC is now commencing work on the Flow Hyllie office project with approximately 10,000 square meters of office and service space in Hyllie in south Malmö. Hyllie has become a natural hub in the Öresund region, and the location of the office, combined with services and stores in the local area, will make everyday life more convenient and create a flow in the working life of the building’s users.
