Omega Company House, Skejby
On one of the last building sites in Skejby, on the edge of northern Aarhus, we are building Omega Company House offering modern businesses an attractive location in an efficient and beautiful environment with a good infrastructure, surrounded by green areas.
Skejby as an urban business area
NCC has built three office buildings according to the Company House concept as well as a hotel in this area of Skejby which collectively is known as Skejby Company Park. The Omega Company House will be the fourth and final in a row. Furthermore, we have built three other office buildings / multi-user houses in the neighbouring area. This means that many, both small and large, companies have already found their way to Skejby. In recent years, it has become an urban business area in continuous development.
Companies in the area include Atea, Sweco, KMD, Vestas, Energi Danmark, IBM, Codan, Ramboll, VIA University, Willis Towers Watson and others.
A flexible office building
The construction of the Omega Company House was initiated in February 2020 and is ready for occupancy in July 2021. The western part of the building is already let to a major energy company with their own entrance. The rest of the house is let out according to the Company House model, where the tenants share common facilities such as canteen, meeting rooms, changing rooms etc.
The Omega Company House also caters to smaller businesses, as the building can be divided into seven tenancies of varying sizes, spread over three floors. The smallest tenancy is 316 m2. But it is also possible to merge some of the tenancies and establish an internal connection if a larger area is needed.
Infrastructure
The location offers easy access to public transport and the road network. The light rail has a stop right next door, and both city and regional bus connections can be reached on foot within a few minutes. Free parking is possible in the outdoor car park with 430 parking spaces, shared with two other properties. One of these is the Zleep Hotel, which mainly has a need for parking outside normal working hours.
However, it is also not a problem if you want to go to work by bike due to the roofed bike parking and the newly established “Super Bike Trail” which leads directly to the Omega Company House from the center of Aarhus.
Architecture
The Omega Company House has been adapted to the neighboring buildings: Alfa Company House (which was completed in 2019), the Zleep Hotel and Beierholm's domicile, so it all plays together architecturally. The tenancies are built around a central foyer that runs through the three floors. The design ensures a maximum of available daylight, as areas such as toilet cores and engineering shafts are located in the center of the building body, thus leaving room for as many workplaces as possible along the facade area.
A sustainable building
Like all our other buildings in the area, the Omega Company House will be DGNB Gold-certified. This ensures a healthy indoor climate for employees, low maintenance costs and a reduction of the building's expected impact on the environment throughout the construction life cycle.

The Alfa and the Omega Company Houses total 14,000 m2. It provides volume and long-term flexibility for tenants, so that over time, tenancies can both be reduced and increased if it becomes relevant.
