Business Area Industry becomes a standalone company within NCC

In 2025, NCC conducted a strategic review of business area Industry to evaluate whether the business would develop better under another owner. The background is that Industry's business logic differs from NCC's contracting operations in several important areas.

“We have made a thorough evaluation and sales process where there has been great interest. However, our conclusion is that NCC as an owner can create even more value by keeping Industry in relation to what we could get in a sale. The business has developed strongly over a long period of time, and we see significant potential going forward," says Tomas Carlsson, President and CEO of NCC.

The best possible conditions

To provide the business with the best possible conditions, business area Industry will be organized as an independent company within the NCC Group. The aim is to strengthen the business logic and give the business the opportunity to further develop.

NCC will be 100 percent owner of the new company, which will have its own Board of Directors with Tomas Carlsson as chairman. Grete Aspelund will be CEO.
