This is the very first edition of Europe’s Best Employers ranking, which is based on an independent survey of employees working for companies with at least 500 employees.

More than 4,000,000 participants took part in the survey to evaluate their employers, and other employers within their industry.

About the ranking

This is the first edition of Europe’s Best Employers by Financial Times and Statista.

The 1,000 companies receiving the highest total scores were awarded as “Europe’s Best Employers 2025.” 40 of those companies are Swedish.

NCC was ranked 5 in Sweden and 156 on the overall list and awarded 10th place in the construction sector in Europe.

The final score was based on two types of evaluations: personal recommendation (the willingness of employees to recommend their employer) and public recommendation (the willingness of employees to recommend other employers from the industry in which they are currently employed), with a higher weighting for direct recommendation.

In total, over 4,000,000 employer evaluations were considered.
