Today marked the inauguration of eRoadArlanda, a Swedish innovation and the first road of its kind to allow both commercial and passenger vehicles to be recharged while driving. The solution, which is both sustainable and cost-effective, will allow existing public roads to be electrified and help to create a future of fossil-free road transport.
In accordance with NCC’s Articles of Association, owners of Series A shares are entitled to request that their shares be converted to Series B shares. As a result of such conversion, the total number of voting rights in the company is reduced. In connection with conversion, the company is obligated, pursuant to the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act (1991:980), to disclose details of the change in this manner.
Tomas Carlsson, who has been appointed as the new President and CEO of NCC, will assume the position on May 7, nearly two months earlier than planned. Tomas is currently employed at the listed architecture and engineering consultancy Sweco.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NCC AB (publ) will be held at Grand Hôtel, Vinterträdgården, Royal’s entrance, Stallgatan 6, Stockholm, on Wednesday April 11, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. (CET).
Today, NCC signed an agreement with the Swedish Transport Administration for the assignment to construct Central Station, which is a significant phase of the West Link project in Gothenburg. The contract involves building an underground commuter train station and about 2 kilometers of railway tunneling and the order value is SEK 4.7 billion. The award decision for the contract was communicated by NCC in May 2016.

NCC is to acquire the construction company Jakobsen & Blindkilde and will thereby gain a substantially stronger foothold primarily in Jutland but also in the rest of Denmark.
To increase focus on purchasing at NCC, with the aim of improving profitability in the company, purchasing will be placed immediately under the control of Harri Savolainen, who is a member of the Executive Management Team. In parallel, NCC’s risk management will be coordinated in one unit under Legal Affairs.
NCC has been selected to renovate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs buildings in Helsinki, Finland. The customer is Senate Properties and the value of the project is about SEK 470 million.

Today, NCC divested two retail projects in Finland: Suurpelto Center in Espoo and Laajasalo Shopping Center in Helsinki, to Niam for an agreed-upon property value of approximately SEK 540 million.
NCC has been commissioned by Västfastigheter to rebuild Skaraborg Hospital in Skövde for more suitable, modern premises. The assignment is a partnering arrangement in two phases, of which the total order value is approximately SEK 600 million.
NCC has been commissioned by Danica Ejendomsselskab ApS to build rental units at Bakkedraget, an attractive residential area by Tuborg Havn marina, Copenhagen, Denmark. The order is worth SEK 620 million.
NCC is to build the new water tower in Helsingborg. The construction project is made in partnering with Nordvästra Skånes Vatten och Avlopp AB (NSVA) and the order value amounts to approximately SEK 270 million.
