The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) is a Norwegian government agency responsible for implementing the government’s immigration and asylum policy, and processes, for example, residence permits for foreign individuals and offers accommodation for asylum seekers.

“We chose Valle View because it is a building that provides us with the necessary flexibility and efficient office solutions for our employees. Good access to public transport was also an important factor for us when moving away from the city center,” says Frode Forfang, Director General of UDI.

Valle View is a project of approximately 22,000 square meters. The project is designed by Lund & Slaatto Architects and will become a new and attractive landmark in Helsfyr. NCC can develop a total of approximately 60,000 square meters of office space in the area, which has noted an expansive development in recent years. The area is gradually being developed into an attractive city district with workplaces, a strong service offering and new housing.

“With a tenant such as UDI, Valle View is establishing itself as an increasingly strong office area. We are experiencing growing demand from tenants and look forward to contributing to the continuing development of the district,” says Thomas Dahle, Head of NCC Property Development Norway.

NCC’s development project in Valle consists of four planned office buildings, of which the first project, Valle Wood, will be completed in the spring of 2019.

The Valle View project is being carried out by the NCC Property Development business area. Construction start is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019. The construction contract will be carried out by NCC Building Nordics and will be registered among orders in the first quarter of 2019. The project is expected to be completed at the end of the fourth quarter of 2020.

Valle View will be environmentally certified under the international BREEAM system, Excellent level. NCC’s objective is to minimize the environmental impact and add value for customers and society with environmentally certified buildings, attractive workplaces and inclusive urban environments.
