The new police station will be built adjacent to the Paradiset waterpark in central Örnsköldsvik and will house offices, meeting rooms, exercise facilities, goods reception, a workshop, garage and other areas of operation across its approximately 10,000 square meters.

“The new police station will contain several different kinds of operations and will be built at a centrally located site. This means that we will have the opportunity to utilize NCC’s entire breadth and our collective experience of classified buildings of various types,” says Niklas Sparw, Head of NCC Building Sweden.

The building will be Miljöbyggnad Silver certified, ensuring high environmental performance. The certification covers the building’s energy, climate footprint, indoor and outdoor environment, and circularity.

The order value is approximately SEK 440 million and will be registered in the NCC Building Sweden business area in the second quarter of 2025. The project will start immediately and is scheduled for completion during 2028.
