NCC to construct new residential care facility in Svalöv

“Lantlyckan represents an important part of Svalöv Municipality’s long-term initiative to meet the elderly care needs of tomorrow and create modern, functional living environments for our elderly. We look forward to now progressing to the construction phase together with NCC, which has extensive experience of similar projects,” says Stefan Pettersson, Chairman of Svalövs Samhällslokaler.

The new residential care facility will feature 56 modern apartments designed for people with special housing needs. Staff areas, offices and a restaurant with a catering kitchen will also be accommodated in the building. The design will focus on functionality, security and well-being for residents, while ensuring a good and efficient work environment for staff. Two large, lush courtyards will provide outdoor recreation and socializing opportunities for the residents in a secure and inviting setting.

Working in partnering form creates an open and transparent work process in which both parties bring their expertise and experience,” says Christian Heiman, Production Manager at NCC.

The project is being implemented as a turnkey partnering contract. In the initial phase, NCC worked with the customer to investigate, plan and design the project. It is now progressing to the construction phase, with completion scheduled for the beginning of 2028.

The order value of the transaction is approximately SEK 200 million and it will be registered among orders in the NCC Building Sweden business area in the first quarter of 2026.
