Lielahti remains the most major commercial area in Tampere and NCC constructed a retail park next to a new Prisma store (estimated completion in 2010). The retail park includes a Kodin Ykkönen department store, Home etelctronics Stores Gigantti and Musta Pörssi and Stemma Furniture Store. All stores are focusing on home and leisure. The retail park is situated in a visible location that is easy to reach and close to major customer flows.

The Lielahti district of Tampere is the most major commercial centre in the Tampere area right after the downtown area. The area includes, for example, two hypermarkets and several furniture, home appliance, leisure and sports stores. The commercial supply in Lielahti will increase and become even more versatile in the near future when a new master plan to enable doubling the commercial supply in the area is ratified. When the partial master plan has been ratified, the traffic connections in Lielahti will be improved and the capacity of the roads will increase. This will improve the already good location of the new retail park in the heart of the area.
