Habitat Masthuggskajen is a unique office building built in wood, offering 8,000 square meters across nine floors.
The building is part of the emerging development area along Masthuggskajen and stands alongside the already completed Brick Studios and Våghuset. Close to Järntorget tenants can easily and conveniently commute to and from the office by public transport or bicycle. In the ground floor you can find a restaurant, a flower shop and a bakery.
The large windows provide the floors with daylight, while the small rooftop terraces offer a fantastic view over the rooftops of Linnéstaden.
A strong emphasis has been placed on creating a building with a high sustainability profile — with the ambition to achieve BREEAM Excellent and NollCO2 certification. The building has been designed to reduce climate impact during construction, and the target of a 40% reduction has been achieved. NCC’s action plan for Masthuggskajen has also been certified according to Citylab, which has additionally certified the district as sustainable urban development in the planning phase.
