Health and Safety week
For an entire week, we put focus on, and further strengthen our common safety culture.
Health and Safety Week gives us the opportunity to perform activities connected to health and safety, with the aim of gaining inspiration, knowledge and commitment to achieve the safest work environment within the industry.
Starting from each workplace and work situation, teams and employees choose to focus on activities that will inspire learning and knowledge regarding health and safety. All NCC employees, including subcontractors, are expected to be involved in the Health and Safety week and activities are organized locally as well as on a Group level.
Health and Safety Week, 2023
Below are examples of activities organized on Group level during our latest Health and Safety Week on May 8-12:
- AI-based work safety trainings
- Evacuation and emergency drill exercises
- Webinar on the importance of physical, mental and social recovery
- ”Work safe – or not at all” – discussions and exercises on working safely around vehicles and wearing the correct personal protection equipment, etc.
