NCC’s interim report for Q2 2020 was released on Friday, July 17.

NCC has signed an agreement with the City of Helsinki to construct schools in Pakilanpuisto, with strict environmental objectives.
NCC Building has commenced the construction of Manglerud Swim and Activity Center, a turnkey contract with collaboration throughout the project.
NCC has been commissioned by Salem Municipality to build Fågelsången school with capacity for 500 pupils as well as an adjacent sports hall. The project is a design-build contract with an order value of approximately SEK 320 million.
Profitability continues to improve
NCC divests the Swedish and Finnish part of the Road Services division to the German based holding company Mutares (Frankfurt Stock Exchange: MUX). The transaction will have a marginal negative effect on NCC earnings and a marginal positive effect on the cash flow in the third quarter.
Buildings A and B at the OOPS office site are rising rapidly in the Leppävaara district of Espoo, greater Helsinki area. The OOPS Campus was designed from the early planning stages according to the sustainability requirements of the international environmental rating BREEAM Excellent.

One of the largest property development projects in the metropolitan area is underway in the Hatsinanpuisto area of Leppävaara. The first building to rise in this area developed by NCC is Trimble’s headquarters which means a joint expedition to testing and using new digital construction tools.
