NCC to construct office building for Fabege in Solna, Sweden

NCC has been commissioned by Fabege AB to construct a 35,000-square-meter office building next to Arenastaden in Solna, Sweden. The project is a design-build contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 750 million.

NCC to construct Manglerud Swim Center in Oslo

NCC Building has commenced the construction of Manglerud Swim and Activity Center on behalf of Undervisningsbygg KF. On May 6 this year, the Oslo City Council approved the commencement of the construction. The order value is approximately NOK 385 million.

Pursuant to its mandate from the Annual General Meeting held on April 1, 2020, the Board of Directors of NCC AB (publ) has decided to purchase own Series B shares.

NCC and Taaleri to construct new apartment blocks in Espoonlahti, outside Helsinki

NCC and Taaleri Real Estate Fund are to construct three new apartment blocks in Espoonlahti, outside Helsinki, an area undergoing extensive development. In total, there will be 218 apartments of various sizes, and the order value amounts to EUR 41 M.

Invitation to presentation of NCC’s interim report for the first quarter 2020

NCC’s interim report for the first quarter 2020 will be released on Tuesday the 28[th] of April. The report will be distributed and available on NCC’s website ncc.se/ir (https://www.ncc.se/investor-relations/) on or around 7:10 CEST.

NCC to construct 135 tenant-owner apartments for HSB Gothenburg

In collaboration with HSB Gothenburg, NCC will construct 135 tenant-owner apartments in Gothenburg. The apartments will form the HSB brf Sannaparken block and are a part of the new Fixfabiken residential area that is being developed in Majorna, western Gothenburg. The order value is approximately SEK 285 million.

NCC and OHL awarded additional project in Lund–Arlöv railway project

NCC, in consortium with Spanish construction and engineering company OHL, has been awarded the assignment to expand the section of railway between Lund and Flackarp in Skåne, Sweden, for the Swedish Transport Administration. The assignment comprises an option under the Lund–Arlöv Four Track project and the order value amounts to approximately SEK 800 million.

NCC’s Annual General Meeting 2020

The shareholders in NCC today at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) passed resolutions concerning inter alia the adoption of the income statement and the balance sheet, discharge from liability for the Board of Directors and the CEO, dividend payment, election of the Board of Directors and director fees, election of auditor, guidelines for remuneration of senior executives and a long-term performance-based incentive program. Resolutions were also passed regarding a change in the articles of association, following a proposed change in the Swedish Companies Act.

Revised proposals regarding dividend and director fees

Owing to the prevailing uncertainty in society due to the corona virus, the Board of Directors of NCC propose that the Annual General Meeting on April 1 does not resolve on any dividend. However, the intention of the Board of Directors is to, if conditions allow, convene an Extra General Meeting later in the year to decide on a dividend. The Nomination Committee has also decided to propose that the director fees remain unchanged compared to 2019.

NCC to construct healthcare buildings in Sörmland for SEK 2.4 billion

NCC is to construct two new healthcare buildings at Mälar Hospital in Eskilstuna and Nyköping Hospital in collaboration with Region Sörmland. The total order value for both projects amounts to more than SEK 2.4 billion.

Information regarding the NCC Annual General Meeting on April 1, 2020 in view of the coronavirus

As previously announced, NCC plans to hold its Annual General Meeting on April 1 at 4:30 pm, at Norra Latin, Drottninggatan 71 B, Stockholm, Sweden. However, NCC will take precautionary measures to reduce the risk of the spread of infection on account of the coronavirus. We are monitoring developments in society carefully and will revise this decision as needed.  

Revised proposal for dividend

The Board of Directors of NCC has previously proposed a dividend of SEK 5 per share divided into two payments, the first of SEK 2.50 per share in April and the second of SEK 2.50 per share in November. Owing to the prevailing uncertainty in society, however, the Board now proposes that the Annual General Meeting only decides on a dividend of SEK 2.50 per share, with April 3, 2020 as the record date. The ambition of the Board of Directors is to, if conditions allow, summon an Extra General Meeting to decide on a second dividend.
