NCC divests business area Industry for SEK 8.2 billion and strengthens focus on contracting

NCC has agreed to divest its Industry business area at an enterprise value of SEK 8.2 billion. The divestment will create a more focused NCC, specializing in contracting, while improving opportunities for long-term value creation. From NCC's perspective, it is a single transaction with two buyers: Heidelberg Materials and CRH. Heidelberg Materials is acquiring the operations in Sweden and Norway, while CRH is acquiring the operations in Denmark and Finland. The transaction is subject to approval by relevant authorities.

NCC to convert factory building to rental units in Turku

NCC and the Turku University Foundation have signed an agreement covering the conversion of the culturally historic Sanitas factory in Turku, into a modern rental housing complex. The conversion also includes a new extension. The order value is approximately SEK 180 million.

NCC to construct 70 kms of high-voltage power lines in Västra Götaland

NCC has signed a construction contract with Svenska kraftnät covering the Horred-Breared power line project. The project is the first construction contract under the Västra Götaland business package and has an approximate order value of SEK 1 billion.

NCC and Hemsö to construct nursing home in Turku

NCC has been commissioned by Hemsö in Finland to construct a new nursing home in Turku. The order value is approximately SEK 200 million.

NCC signs strategic partnering agreement

NCC has signed a long-term strategic partnering agreement for security classified projects. The value of the agreement is estimated to be between SEK 3 to 5 billion.

NCC’s Christmas donation to support young people studying mathematics

NCC continues to support learning among children and young people. This year’s Christmas donation of SEK 1.5 million will go to four organizations in the Nordic region that provide tutoring for children and young people, which can expand opportunities for a career in construction and civil engineering.

NCC cited a Diversity Leader again

The Financial Times and market research company Statista have once again cited NCC as one of Europe’s Diversity Leaders 2025. The award is included in the sixth annual list of Europe’s Diversity Leaders featuring companies that actively promote diversity and inclusion in their operations.

AI robot makes money for NCC by detecting boulders

NCC Industry is increasing the efficiency and control of the site-intake of aggregates. Detecting truck loads with boulders, rocks too large to fit into the crushing machine, has been a problem for years. Now, an AI-robot has solved that problem, and as a bonus, the costs have decreased.

We Land office building completed in Helsinki's Ruoholahti district

We Land represents a new type of office building, carefully designed to accommodate hybrid working. The newly completed building has recently welcomed tenants Kalmar, Deloitte, and Hiab, with Helen scheduled to move in next year. ISS's lunch restaurant, Kasi, is now open to the public, and the top-floor fine dining restaurant with panoramic views will open later this fall.

We Land – a unique piece of office architecture

The Helsinki district of Ruoholahti’s maritime location and its history inspired architect Juha Mäki-Jyllilä when he started designing the We Land office building in 2018: “From the start, our aim was architecture that suits its surrounding urban setting dominated by large buildings, but gives it a new, fresh look.”
