NCC divests property development projects in Norway
NCC has signed an agreement to divest four property development projects in Norway as part of streamlining the company’s property portfolio in the Nordic region. The transactions will be completed in phases and are expected to have a marginal impact on earnings.
Major impacts on West Link and Gothenburg from Swedish Transport Administration’s decision
NCC, through the West Link Contractors (WLC) consortium, rejects the allegations upon which the Swedish Transport Administration bases its reasoning for terminating the construction contract for the Korsvägen phase of the West Link project. The contract termination lacks legal basis and will result in major negative consequences for taxpayers and the residents of Gothenburg.
NCC secures two major asphalt contracts in northern Sweden
NCC has been awarded two major asphalt-laying contracts in northern Sweden. The projects concern the sections of road between Avakko and Lappeasuando in Gällivare and Grimsmark and Gumboda in Västerbotten, with a total order value of approximately SEK 175 million.
NCC to construct correctional facility in Kristianstad
NCC is partnering with Intea to construct a new correctional facility in Vä, just outside Kristianstad, for the tenant, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. The parties have jointly designed and planned the project, which is now transitioning to the construction phase. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 650 million.
Changes to NCC’s Nomination Committee
Mats Hellström, representing Nordea Fonder, will become a new member of NCC’s Nomination Committee. Anna Magnusson, representing Första AP-fonden (First AP Fund), is leaving the Nomination Committee as the fund is being consolidated at year-end.
