NCC sells office project in Järva Krog for just over SEK 1 billion

NCC is to sell the K11 office project in Järva Krog to Castellum for just over SEK 1 billion. Following the completion of K11, the first block of three in the new neighborhood has now been fully developed.

NCC signs SEK 1.9 billion contract with Bane NOR

NCC and Bane NOR, the state-owned company responsible for the Norwegian national railway infrastructure, have signed an agreement to convert the Drammen railway station area in Norway. The project is highly complex in terms of the planning, logistics and coordination of several technically challenging elements. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 1.9 billion.

Conversion of shares in NCC AB

According to NCC’s articles of association, owners of Series A shares are entitled to request that such shares be converted to Series B shares. Conversion reduces the total number of voting rights in the company.

NCC divests additional Company House to PensionDanmark

NCC is divesting the Omega Company House office building in the Skejby area of Aarhus to PensionDanmark for approximately SEK 260 million. The agreement adds an additional office building in Skejby to PensionDanmark’s portfolio, which thereby owns three office buildings and one hotel in one of the most attractive areas of Aarhus.

NCC refurbishes 210 apartments outside Copenhagen

NCC has been commissioned to refurbish and remodel 210 rental apartments in Herlev, near Copenhagen, on behalf of the housing company DAB. The order value is approximately SEK 360 million.

NCC to modernize treatment plant in Uppsala

NCC has been commissioned by Uppsala Vatten to upgrade and modernize the Kungsängsverket treatment plant. The measure is necessary to meet Uppsala’s population growth and the more stringent requirements for efficient and robust sewage treatment. The order value is approximately SEK 270 million.  

NCC to develop new property project in Mölndal

NCC is now commencing work on the property development project MIMO, encompassing approximately 40,000 square meters of offices, services and retail in Mölndal, due south of Gothenburg, Sweden. One third of the project space is already let to tenants, which include SATS and Mindpark.

NCC to rebuild city block in Gothenburg for Hufvudstaden

NCC, in a partnering arrangement with Hufvudstaden, is to rebuild and expand the Johanna city block in central Gothenburg, adding many new workplaces in retail, restaurants and offices. The partnering project is a turnkey contract with an order value of approximately SEK 1.2 billion.

NCC divests Road Services Denmark to Mutares

NCC divests Road Services Denmark to the German based holding company Mutares (Frankfurt Stock Exchange: MUX). The transaction is expected to have a marginal positive effect on NCC earnings and cash flow in connection with closing, expected in the second quarter.

NCC has started construction of a new train depot in Nässjö

NCC, in partnership with Region Jönköping County, has started the construction of a new train depot in Nässjö that will ensure service and maintenance for trains in and around the county. The order value is approximately SEK 550 million.

Pursuant to its mandate from the Annual General Meeting held on March 30, 2021, the Board of Directors of NCC AB (publ) has decided to repurchase and transfer own Series B shares.

NCC’s Kineum project reaches milestone – Platzer assumes ownership next year

The letting of NCC’s Kineum project in Gothenburg, which has been developed together with Platzer Fastigheter, has reached a milestone. This means that ownership can be transferred to Platzer in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Johan Lindqvist new Head of Purchasing at NCC

NCC has recruited Johan Lindqvist as its new Head of Purchasing and Chief Procurement Officer. Johan comes most recently from Volvo Bus Corporation, part of Volvo Group, and will be part of NCC’s Senior Management Team. He will take up his new position by November 2021 at the latest.
