NCC to build new premises for Finnish Customs

NCC has been contracted by state-owned property company Senate Properties to build new premises in Vantaa, north of Helsinki, for Finnish Customs. The order value is approximately SEK 440 million.

NCC initiates partnership to construct regiment base in Kristinehamn

NCC and the Swedish Fortifications Agency have signed a partnering agreement to plan and – in the next phase – construct a new artillery regiment base in Kristinehamn. The new regiment will play a crucial role as Sweden builds its defense capabilities. Construction contracts will be signed in the project’s next phase prior to starting production.

NCC is refurbishing residential units in Aalborg

NCC has been commissioned by the municipal company Himmerlands Boligförening to refurbish 350 residential units in Aalborg, Denmark. The order value is approximately SEK 220 million.

NCC organizes Awareness day for sixteenth consecutive year – focus on risk behaviors

Today, Awareness day is being held at all of NCC’s workplaces in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. The activity is crucial to NCC’s efforts to create a strong safety-oriented corporate culture. As in previous years, the focus will be on risk behaviors.

Conversion of shares in NCC AB, August 2026

According to NCC’s articles of association, owners of Series A shares are entitled to request that such shares be converted to Series B shares. Conversion reduces the total number of voting rights in the company.

NCC’s Christmas donation to support young people studying mathematics

NCC continues to support learning among children and young people. This year’s Christmas donation of SEK 1.5 million will go to four organizations in the Nordic region that provide tutoring for children and young people, which can expand opportunities for a career in construction and civil engineering.

NCC cited a Diversity Leader again

The Financial Times and market research company Statista have once again cited NCC as one of Europe’s Diversity Leaders 2025. The award is included in the sixth annual list of Europe’s Diversity Leaders featuring companies that actively promote diversity and inclusion in their operations.

AI robot makes money for NCC by detecting boulders

NCC Industry is increasing the efficiency and control of the site-intake of aggregates. Detecting truck loads with boulders, rocks too large to fit into the crushing machine, has been a problem for years. Now, an AI-robot has solved that problem, and as a bonus, the costs have decreased.

We Land office building completed in Helsinki's Ruoholahti district

We Land represents a new type of office building, carefully designed to accommodate hybrid working. The newly completed building has recently welcomed tenants Kalmar, Deloitte, and Hiab, with Helen scheduled to move in next year. ISS's lunch restaurant, Kasi, is now open to the public, and the top-floor fine dining restaurant with panoramic views will open later this fall.

We Land – a unique piece of office architecture

The Helsinki district of Ruoholahti’s maritime location and its history inspired architect Juha Mäki-Jyllilä when he started designing the We Land office building in 2018: “From the start, our aim was architecture that suits its surrounding urban setting dominated by large buildings, but gives it a new, fresh look.”
