Conversion of shares in NCC AB

In accordance with NCC’s Articles of Association, owners of Series A shares are entitled to request that their shares be converted to Series B shares. As a result of such conversion, the total number of voting rights in the company is reduced. In connection with conversion, the company is obligated, pursuant to the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act (1991:980), to disclose details of the change in this manner.

NCC to construct school in Järvenpää, Finland

NCC has been commissioned to construct the new Kinnari school in Järvenpää, Finland. The project will be carried out with the customer, the city of Järvenpää, in the form of a partnering arrangement. The project is valued at approximately SEK 255 million.

NCC donates SEK 1 million to relief organizations focused on children’s well-being

Instead of distributing Christmas gifts to customers and personnel, NCC is donating SEK 1 million to relief organizations focused on children’s well-being. Employees and customers have been able to play a part in deciding which organization will be allocated the bulk of the donation. Doctors Without Borders will receive the largest share of SEK 500,000, while UNICEF and Plan International will each receive SEK 250,000.

NCC to build Global Business Gate in Gothenburg

NCC has launched a partnering arrangement with Global Business Gate for an entirely new office project in the Masthuggskajen district in Gothenburg. The assignment has been divided into two phases, and the total order value is expected to amount to approximately SEK 900 million.

NCC increases provisions in construction and civil engineering projects and reduces overhead costs

NCC’s earnings for the fourth quarter will be charged with SEK 315 million for increased provisions in construction and civil engineering projects. This adjustment entails that the project portfolios in the construction and civil engineering operations will have a lower and more balanced risk. Earnings will also be charged with SEK 75 million regarding restructuring costs for reducing overhead costs and severance pay for the former CEO. Operating profit for the fourth quarter is expected to be close to zero.

NCC to build factory expansion in Vantaa, Finland

NCC has signed a contract to build a factory expansion in Vantaa, Finland for Murata Electronics Oy. The project is a design and build contract and the value is approximately SEK 365 million.

NCC to carry out major hospital project in Oulu, Finland

NCC has been selected as the construction partner for a hospital project in Oulu, Finland. The project includes two new buildings – a women’s and children’s hospital, and the first phase of a new main hospital. The customer is the Joint Municipal Authority of the Health Care District of Northern Ostrobothnia. The total order value is approximately SEK 705 million.

NCC in consortium with Wayss & Freytag awarded phase of the West Link project for SEK 3.8 billion

The Swedish Transport Administration has selected NCC, in consortium with the German company Wayss & Freytag Ingeniurbau AG, to build the Korsvägen phase of the West Link project. The total order value is SEK 3.8 billion and the contract is expected to be signed in early December.

NCC to construct Landborgen link in Helsingborg

In partnership with the City of Helsingborg, NCC is to construct the Landborgen link, a six-story underground car and bicycle garage as well as pedestrian and bicycle ways, which will join the city districts above the approximately 20-meter-high Landborgen cliff with the city center. The total order value is an estimated SEK 350 million.

NCC to build swimming complex in Varberg

In cooperation with Varbergs Fastighets AB, NCC will design and build a new swimming complex in Varberg, Sweden. The assignment will be carried out as a partnering arrangement and comprise two phases. The total order value is expected to amount to approximately SEK 350 million.

NCC to build wind farm in Piteå

NCC has been commissioned to conduct extensive infrastructure work for the Markbygden ETT wind farm in Piteå. The contract value is approximately SEK 800 million.

Acting General Counsel appointed

NCC has appointed Ann-Marie Hedbeck as new acting Legal Counsel, member of the Executive Management Team and Secretary of the Board. Ann-Marie Hedbeck replaces NCC’s current General Counsel Håkan Broman, who has assumed the position of acting President and CEO of NCC since October 30.

NCC’s Loop Rocks start-up entering Finland

Loop Rocks, NCC’s online marketplace where users can match supply and demand for soil and rock between construction sites, is now entering Finland. Loop Rocks open platform and app already have more than 7.000 users in Sweden and Denmark.
