NCC to build Drömfabriken in Skultuna, Sweden

NCC has been commissioned by the City of Västerås to construct Drömfabriken in Skultuna, Västerås. Drömfabriken will be a meeting place with a new school, library and after-school club. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 340 million.

NCC to build Granåsen soccer hall in Trondheim

NCC has been commissioned by Trondheim Municipality to build Granåsen soccer hall in Trondheim, Norway. Construction will commence in June 2023 and is scheduled for completion in the end of 2024. The order value is approximately SEK 230 million.

NCC to refurbish county hospital in Trollhättan

NCC has signed an additional agreement with Västfastigheter for an assignment covering part of the refurbishment and expansion of the operation and surgery ward at Northern Älvsborg County Hospital (NÄL) in Trollhättan. The order value is approximately SEK 150 million. 

NCC to convert Spritfabriken in Eslöv, Sweden, into residential units and offices

In collaboration with Eslövs Bostads AB (Ebo), NCC is to construct residential units and offices in the former distillery (Sw: spritfabrik) in Eslöv, Sweden. The project will strive to reuse as much existing material as possible. In the first phase, the parties have jointly planned and budgeted the project and performed preliminary earthworks, demolition and an inventory of material for reuse. Now the project is transitioning to the construction phase. The order value is approximately SEK 320 million.

Change in the number of NCC shares

In accordance with the resolution at the Annual General Meeting on March 31, 2023, NCC has cancelled 8,674,866 own Series B shares previously repurchased by the company.

NCC continues refurbishments for Östersundshem

NCC has been commissioned by Östersundshem to refurbish 192 apartments in central Östersund. The assignment is the single largest refurbishment project in the county in modern times. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 180 million.

NCC’s 2023 Annual General Meeting

Today at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), the shareholders of NCC passed resolutions concerning inter alia the adoption of the income statement and the balance sheet, payment of a dividend and a new long-term performance-based incentive program.

NCC to build municipal water and sewage system along Njurunda coastline in Sundsvall, Sweden

NCC has been commissioned by MittSverige Vatten & Avfall to build a municipal water and sewage system for approximately 450 properties along the Njurunda coastline in Sundsvall, which is a continuation of the project NCC is already carrying out at the location. The project will be in the form of a construction contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 250 million.

NCC to build new Håsten school in Varberg

NCC, in cooperation with Varbergs Fastighets AB, will construct a school building and sports hall for the new Håsten school in Varberg. The project is a turnkey contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 530 million.

NCC to remodel Hammarforsen hydropower plant in Jämtland

NCC has been commissioned by Statkraft to implement measures to improve dam safety at the Hammarforsen hydropower plant. The contract includes the remodeling of a spillway to increase discharge capacity. The project consists of a construction contract in partnering form with an order value of approximately SEK 160 million.

NCC to build Scandic hotel in Aarhus

NCC has signed an agreement with Bassin 7 Erhverv ApS to build a Scandic hotel on Aarhus Island in Denmark. The project is a turnkey contract and the order value is approximately SEK 2 billion.

NCC and Jernhusen form joint venture company for Park Central

The development of Park Central in Gothenburg is continuing. The building is being developed jointly by NCC and Jernhusen, which have now entered a joint venture. The formation of the joint venture company marks an important step toward the realization of Gothenburg’s new landmark building. This is the first building to be constructed in the new urban space that is set to emerge around Gothenburg Central Station. The parties each own 50 percent and construction is scheduled to commence in early 2024, with expected occupancy in 2027.
