The new interchanges at Hjulsta and Häggvik are complex, extensive bridge and tunnel projects at two of Sweden’s most traffic-intensive locations. Here, minimal disruption and effective implementation are essential.
NCC has been commissioned by Svenska Bostäder to build 172 rental apartments in the district of Ledinge in Tensta, a suburb of Stockholm. The project is part of the framework agreement for the Stockholmshusen housing project, for which NCC is one of four contractors. The order is worth around SEK 250 million.
On behalf of Helsingborgshem, NCC has constructed 67 climate-smart rental units in the Kungsörnen block in Helsingborg, Sweden, distributed across two eight-story buildings and two two-story buildings.
NCC transformed VR Group's old administration building at Helsinki Central Station into a hotel in the Scandic Hotels chain. In addition to the alterations to the old head office, a new part was built on the north side of the building. The hotel was completed in January 2021.
NCC Building is developing and building a high school and arts school for 540 students in Risenga, in the Greater Oslo municipality of Asker. The new school building will be constructed without the use of fossil fuels.

NCC has built a new and modern children’s hospital directly connected to Queen Silvia’s Hospital for Children and Young People in Gothenburg. This project provides Gothenburg with one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals within the fields of highly specialised child healthcare, clinical research and education.
NCC has built the new water tower in the city of Helsingborg in cooperation with NSVA (Nordvästra Skånes Vatten och Avlopp AB). The unique design was made by Wingård architects.
Murata Electronics Oy's plant has been expanded by building an extension to the existing factory in Martinlaakso in Vantaa. The project was technically challenging, partly because of the requirement for an exceptionally large cleanroom facility. Because of the adjacent sensor factory, vibration was not permitted at the construction site. The project comprised a floor area of just under 9,000 m2 and it was completed in late 2019.
NCC is developing and building Buskerud’s first privately owned BREEAM-certified office block in Kjellstad, Lier, in close partnership with Drammen-based Holtefjell Eiendom.

We are building a unique residential area just a stone's throw away from the Turku Castle. The Harppuunakortteli was commissioned by the Seafarers' Pension Fund. The first buildings to be built in the Harppuunakortteli will be the two Harppuunan Puosu buildings which contain approximately one hundred flats. The Harppuunan Puosu buildings will be completed in Spring 2019.
The Valgrinda project is a 2,617 square meter laboratory with high environmental ambitions that NCC is building for the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. Valgrinda is the first fossil free construction site north of Oslo.
