Deloitte will bring its Finnish headquarters and over 700 employees to the We Land building to be completed in the K. A. Fagerholm Square in the Ruoholahti district of Helsinki in 2022. The target set for We Land, a concept developed by NCC, is to upgrade the Ruoholahti district into one of Helsinki’s most attractive areas. The building is designed to meet the exceptionally high BREEAM rating of Outstanding.
NCC has partnered up with CHAOS to be on pulse of the Ruoholahti residents, frequent area users, and workers to build the most sustainable and innovative business and co-creation hub in Helsinki – We Land. CHAOS supports project’s digitalisation by bringing forward demographics, and citizens’ sentiments.
On Friday 7 June, NCC celebrated its breakthrough in the sub-sea Eysturoy Tunnel’s 11.2 km long main branch which, on completion, will cut journey times to the capital Tórshavn from many locations on the Faroe Islands.
The Nordic countries have agreed to strengthen cooperation around the harmonization of building regulations and standards. Greater harmonization has been found to promote a more integrated market for labor and products, with cost benefits for property owners, contractors and the public sector.
