We Land: a unique new office building coming to Helsinki's Ruoholahti district, in step with changing needs and times

NCC wants to develop properties by renovating existing building stock
The real estate market in popular urban areas can be developed by renovating existing properties into premises which fulfill the present-day requirements. Renovation and circular economy also enable reduction of energy and material related CO2 emissions created by the industry, states NCC’s Property Development organization in Finland.

”ESG is increasing in focus where property investments are concerned. Today, preference is given to property portfolios with a strong commitment to sustainability values. One could even say that a new building project without the environmental certificate hardly attracts investor interest which is why the investment is not realised,” Senior Property Developer Heikki Alén says.
New technological innovations piloted at OOPS’ construction
The first OOPS office property located in the heart of Espoo is constructed using the latest technology and data from the office construction as never before. NCC and the software company Trimble were able to showcase Trimble’s state-of-the-art technologies in close cooperation.
